Weddings

As part of your wedding, we offer a free wedding venue coordinator. You will be allocated your coordinator one year before the wedding, and we will send lots of helpful samples on timings and table plans once your booking is confirmed.

Please note this is not a full wedding planning service - more an experienced person to help guide you while you plan your wedding, and to be there on the day to make sure all goes smoothly. They will also greet the suppliers you have booked and point them in the right direction, and can set up simple decorations such as candles, flowers and table plans or names.

Most couples plan the wedding they wish and book their suppliers, while we are around to help guide the day with our experience of timelines and table layouts, including two pre-wedding meetings.

If you think you may need more help, you are of course welcome to hire any planner you wish as an addition.

Ashton Court Mansion's two bar areas are well placed to keep your guests looked after throughout the day and evening. We stock a carefully chosen selection of local craft ales from Wiper & True and Bristol Beer Factory, local spirits, signature cocktails, draught lager and cider.

In the Music Room - home to the more formal moments of your wedding day - a dedicated service fridge ensures welcome drinks and table wine are always to hand. The Winter Garden bar, with its atmospheric vaulted setting, houses our main bar and is the perfect backdrop for reception drinks and late-night celebrations.

We work with two of Bristol's finest wine merchants to offer a thoughtfully curated wine list with a range of drinks packages to suit every occasion. Couples are welcome to bring their own wine and fizz only, charged on corkage - our corkage service includes staff to pour, chilling, glassware hire and bottle disposal.

In partnership with DBM Wines and Corks of North Street (Corks of Bristol), we are pleased to offer a reduced BYO rate when you select either merchant as your wine supplier.

Our Head of Events brings years of experience in hospitality and understands the importance of great food at a wedding, and providing value for money when it comes to selecting catering partners.

Every catering partner has been carefully selected for the quality of their food, their communication skills and their proven experience in the events field.
